Our School

It Takes a Whole Village to Raise a Single Child

Jervis Bay School staff embraces the notion of it taking a whole village to raise a child. School staff work closely with our parents, carers and broader community to engage our students academically, socially and culturally and to enrich their lives.

We work in partnership with a range of groups and institutions around the area to offer a unique educational program. We are well known for our NAIDOC Celebrations, ANZAC Commemorations, Student Health and Well-Being and our Junior Rangers Program.

Strong community support is a major feature of Jervis Bay School. We receive support from Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community Council, Booderee National Park, University of Wollongong, Aboriginal Medical Service, Australian Federal Police, Creswell Defence Base, Waminda, Vincentia High School and Infrastructure Australia.
