The Jervis Bay School community welcomes you to our idyllic school set in the lush Booderee National Park on the picturesque HMAS Creswell, Navy Base that was built at the turn of the century. The school grounds overlook the crystal blue waters of Jervis Bay and provide a well-equipped learning environment for our students. The school is well maintained and well resourced.

The school’s priority is to provide excellence in education in a caring and nurturing environment.

The school is committed to achieving successful learning outcomes for all students. We provide a balanced educational program that caters for students intellectual, social, physical and emotional development.

School based curricula and policies have been developed by the staff to meet the popular needs of student at the school. These are in accordance with ACT Department of Education, Every Chance To Learn document.

Jnr_rangers_green_patch_15mar_017We strongly believe that educating students is most effective and meaningful when there is a partnership between the school and the home. Parental cooperation and and support is highly valued.

We offer a warm, caring, educational environment where students are respected and encouraged to develop to their full potential in all areas. Considerable time and effort has gone into preparing the programs we teach and the facilities we provide. Each member of our school staff is genuinely interested in, and concerned for your child's progress and welfare.

All parents are made welcome in the school and encouraged to participate in our programs and activities. This participation really adds to the feeling of a caring, community school.

The school places strong emphasis on the management of students through the use of problem-solving strategies. A school code of conduct has been developed by staff and students, and is based on rights and responsibilities of all stakeholders.

The school recognises and welcomes the diversity of our student population. We regard this diversity as an asset which is to be used to enrich the lives and learning environment of our students.
